Local Expertise. Global Connections. Corey Iaria Purcell was drawn to the Adirondacks in 2005, captivated by its pristine landscapes and active lifestyle. She first lived on Main Street in the heart of Lake Placid before building a cozy, eco-friendly home in the woods of Jay. Now based in Saranac Lake with her husband and their dog, Banjo, Corey loves the area's strong sense of community. Originally from the New Jersey Shore, Corey has lived and worked in New York City, Florida, and New Jersey. Her early career in the hotel and restaurant industry refined her expertise in top-tier service, as well as her passion for exploring food and wine. She later transitioned into producing, promoting, and marketing the arts, collaborating with international musicians and performance artists while leading fundraising efforts for organizations like Big Brothers/Big Sisters and the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund for 9/11. She remains an active community advocate, most recently serving on the steering committee for Saranac Lake’s Farm to Fork Festival. As a licensed real estate professional with Four Seasons Sotheby’s International Realty Seasons Sotheby’s International Realty, Corey has consistently excelled in the field, earning multiple Top Producer awards and a place in the President’s Club. In addition to owning and managing both long-term and short-term rental properties, she leverages her expertise to help others invest in the Adirondack lifestyle. Corey holds the Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) designation, the highest hallmark in the industry, along with eight additional designations, including being the first in her area to earn the GREEN designation for sustainability-focused real estate. Beyond real estate, Corey embraces the Adirondacks to the fullest—cross-country and downhill skiing in the winter, sailing, boating, hiking, motorcycle riding in the summer, and camping year-round.
