Garrison Gunter is a third-generation Greenwich, Connecticut–based real estate advisor specializing in luxury homes and architecturally significant properties across Fairfield County and the greater New York metro area. His work centers on evaluating, positioning, and acquiring residential properties where architecture, infrastructure, and long-term potential matter as much as location. With a background in architectural photography, brand strategy, and systems design, he brings a highly visual and analytical approach, looking closely at light, layout, materials, and mechanical systems, not just surface finishes. While based in Greenwich, his work extends across select Fairfield County markets, including coastal communities such as Old Greenwich, Riverside, Rowayton, and Westport, as well as architecturally distinct areas like New Canaan and North Stamford, known for their concentration of modern and mid-century homes. This perspective helps clients compare lifestyle settings ranging from waterfront to privately sited, design-focused properties. He advises buyers and sellers on everything from turnkey homes to properties requiring renovation or redevelopment vision, with experience in new construction, off-market opportunities, and homes where design intent or infrastructure requires a more careful read. He is particularly attuned to the integration of modern home systems and how they support a seamless living experience. Before real estate, Garrison held roles with Apple, AppNexus, Warby Parker, and The Institute for the Arts and Humanities at Penn State. He holds a BFA in Photography from CalArts and graduate degrees from Penn State. That background informs a clear, structured, and systems-oriented approach to working with clients. Clients rely on him for straightforward guidance at every stage of ownership, from septic and well systems to structural considerations and long-term potential. His approach is collaborative and grounded in the belief that a home should function well and feel like a natural fit. Outside of real estate, Garrison spends his time with his wife, who is also in the industry, and their two children. Much of their free time revolves around cooking at home by the pool, being outdoors, and keeping up with their Bernedoodle, Bodie. He is actively involved with Scouts America and is a founding member of both the Bruce Museum and the Parkways Performing Arts programs, reflecting his family’s long-standing commitment to the local community.
