Jason is a second-generation REALTOR®, Associate Broker, and Team Leader for the Veenstra Team. Jason was raised in Kalamazoo and has spent most of his life here. He is a graduate of Kalamazoo Christian High School, attended Calvin University, and graduated from Trinity Christian College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Communication. Jason and his wife, along with their 5 children, attend The River Church in downtown Kalamazoo where Jason serves on the Elder Board and volunteers on a regular basis in the audio/video department as well as on the worship team. Jason serves as a Board Director for the Greater Kalamazoo Association of REALTORS® (GKAR), Board Manager for Michigan Regional Information Center (MichRIC), sits on the GKAR MLS Committee, is a member of the Kalamazoo Real Estate Investment Association (KREIA), a member of the Rental Property Owner’s Association (RPOA), and he and his wife have been class facilitators for Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University multiple times. Outside of real estate, Jason enjoys spending time with his family, especially at their family cabin in northern Michigan. He finds joy in the outdoors, whether it’s camping, skiing, or kayaking. Jason also has a deep passion for music and serves as both a vocalist and audio tech on the worship team at their church. When he’s not working or volunteering, he loves gathering around a campfire with friends and family, sharing great conversations and quality time together.
