Richard Gomez was born and raised in the Inland Empire. These days, he resides in the High Desert region, where he enjoys the clean air and wide, open spaces. He makes it his business to help others sell or purchase homes all throughout each region. With a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from California State University, San Bernardino, Richard worked in law enforcement for 14 years. Now a real estate professional, he credits his prior experience for a skill set that emphasizes communication, patience, organization, respect and appreciation for others, and high performance under pressure. He believes “structure coupled with collective thinking and reasoning” is key to accomplishing the goals of his clients. He would like them to know that honesty, integrity, and reliability are his guiding principles, both professionally and personally — core values he believes should apply to anyone, regardless of their chosen profession. First-time buyers, retirees, and people who are relocating benefit from Richard’s experience as a thorough investigator working in their best interests. And if they know a little about his background, they can rest assured that a professional who has worked as a probation officer knows a lot about advocating for people and helping them navigate a complex system to achieve desirable results. In his spare time, Richard enjoys reading, hiking, and martial arts. He hopes to return to working with at-risk youth to help them grow as individuals and focus on positive pursuits through music programs, sports, and other activities.
