Tammy Meek began her distinguished career with the United States Army, where she developed a strong sense of discipline and dedication to service. Her military background laid the foundation for a life marked by public service and leadership. After retiring from the Army, Tammy transitioned to a role in the Department of Corrections, showcasing her ability to handle challenging environments with resilience and integrity. Her career path then led her to become the Business Enterprise Manager for the State of Michigan, where she streamlined operations and spearheaded initiatives for growth. In addition to her managerial roles, Tammy was an owner-operator of rental properties, which honed her skills in business management. Her entrepreneurial spirit was further exemplified during her tenure as a USDA Inspector, where she ensured quality standards and regulations were met. Eight years ago, Tammy discovered Lake Hartwell during a vacation and was instantly captivated by its serene beauty. This prompted her to purchase her first home in Hartwell, leading to her eventual relocation to Anderson, where she currently resides. Her affection for the Anderson community has only grown since acquiring a lake home there over a year ago. Deeply committed to giving back, Tammy volunteers with Special Olympics and Paws and is an active member of Vets Helping Vets and Veterans of Foreign Wars. These roles highlight her dedication to supporting diverse causes and fostering inclusive communities. Having moved from the north, Tammy understands the complexities of relocation and is passionate about helping others smoothly transition to new environments. She leverages her personal experiences to assist buyers in finding homes and making their relocation journeys less daunting.
