I'm back! I was a licensed salesperson in NY for 5+ years 15-20 years ago. I moved to California and did a real estate initially, but ended up opening a successful gym franchise. A few years ago my dad passed away. My mom was 90 living alone and she was doing well, but I felt I could do more for her. Timing was right and I sold the gym franchise so I could move back to NY to help out. Mom is 92 now, still driving, and doing extremely well for her age. I got back into real estate because I like helping people and it gives me the flexibility to help out family. I think communication is really important when working with someone. Not just speaking but also listening to their needs and letting them know how those needs will be addressed.
